At the beginning of the year, Meru University put out a competitive bid for the supply and installation of a structured cabling subsystem at their Meru campus among other solutions. CBS emerged the winner beating out the competition. CBS commenced the project by assigning 50 highly trained and motivated staff to manage the project from the beginning to its completion.The deployed solution involved the installation of single mode fiber optic cable to all the 11 buildings in the campus compound. All the buildings were installed with 3 compartments metal trunking, with over 500 data points being terminated. Also, 500 Cisco IP phones were installed and commissioned.
